As you all know, we’re still assessing all the things we’ve lost since hurricane Helene. One thing that was heartbreaking to our wonderful Brandon, was that nearly 90-95% of his piano and organ music collection was damaged from the flood waters. While a coworker was inquiring about how to get his music back, to help in some way, word spread, and something great happened!
RonandBeth Fox (Beth), a music teacher from Community Christian School in Bradenton, heard the story. She felt moved to help Brandon, even though she had never met him before. She reached out to her musician friends and Facebook groups to see if they’d be willing to donate/buy some replacement music pieces for Brandon.
Slowly but surely, Brandon has now been receiving some of the music he had lost in the hurricane, and is receiving new music as well, from people all around the nation! What a wonderful way to bless a fellow musician, and bring some light into this dark time we are all facing.
Thank you Beth, and everyone who has sent some music! It is very much appreciated! Brandon is overwhelmed with the generosity everyone has shown!
