Our “Rose Garden” as it is affectionately called, has been beautifully renovated and maintained by the Board of Trustees and their team. It is always open and you are welcome to sit on one of the benches, read the names, and remember those that have gone before us.
The Roser Memorial Garden is available for the interment of ashes. Interment services are available to both Members and Non-Members, while niches are only available for Members. Read more HERE.
In February of 2019 the Trustees completed a year long project of removing the old, badly warped, pergola and installing a new fiber glass pergola in the Memorial Garden. The new pergola was purchased from Pergola Kits USA in Levittown, NY. The old pergola was removed by Stewart Landscaping. Footings for the new pergola were poured by Butch Van Ostenbridge’s company. The new pergola was delivered by Island Lumber Company in a 2,000 pound wooden create. The new pergola was installed in 3 days by our own members. A big thank you goes to David, Dick, Dan, Mike, Alan, and Randy. The total cost of the project was paid for out of the Memorial Garden funds. Snyder Annabel created the sea bird mural she donated to the courtyard project. She spent over 150 hours making it. The Courtyard Dedication was held on Founders’ Day, Sunday, November 19, 2019.
A beautiful glass mosaic is mounted on the west wall of the Memorial Garden. We are so grateful to Annabel Snyder, a local artist, for donating her time and amazing talent to create this perfect piece. The Vine and the Cross remind us that even in death we are connected with Christ. Be sure to stop by and see how the gold and mirror tiles reflect the glory of God’s grace.
