God’s people waited for what seemed like an eternity for His promises to be fulfilled. At last, that day had arrived, but few were ready for the event. The coming of this Child meant more than most could understand. Some 2000 years later, however, with the benefit of hindsight, we can now see that Christmas provides constant and powerful reasons for hope, even when we are tempted by our own despair and cynicism.
Week 1: A New Sign, Isaiah 7:10-17, December 8, 2024
When the enemy threatens destruction God offers to provide a sign of His deliverance. The sign would come in the form of a child, then and in the time of Jesus. This child’s story is the key to unlocking God’s whole plan for His people.

Week 2: A New King, Isaiah 9:6-7, December 22, 2024
This promised child brings a new revelation of God’s plan to restore His creation. Under His leadership, God’s people will realize the future He always wanted for them and for us.
Week 3: A New Family, Isaiah 11:1-3, December 24, 2024 (Christmas Eve)
This promised child will restore an ancient family line, but in a powerfully new way. God’s promised Spirit will breathe through this child and all who follow after Him.
Week 4: A New Day, Isaiah 11:6-9, December 29, 2024
This promised child will bring the peace that the world lost long ago. When He has finished His work, nature itself will bear witness to His power. On that day, God’s people will again dwell in the garden that He has always intended for them.
