John Roser Society

Greetings Roser Memorial Church Members!

We are pleased to announce the formation of the John Roser Society — a group of Roser Church members who have decided to include a memorial to Roser in their Last Will and Testament.  The reasons to include Roser in your estate plans are many and varied, but most come down to the rich and joyful experience that we have all had as members of the Roser congregation over many, many years, and a desire to promulgate Roser’s positive Christian message into the future.

What steps are required?

Joining the John Roser Society is a straightforward proposition.  First, make a written monetary commitment to Roser in your Will. Second, send a written note to the Church office confirming Roser’s inclusion in your Last Will and Testament. If you would like additional details or to discuss your contribution in person, please call the Church office at (941) 778-0414, and we will quickly get back to you.

In turn, the Roser congregation will express its gratitude with a handsome written acknowledgment and a membership lapel pin signifying your membership in the John Roser Society.

What are my giving options?

You can make your bequest as general or specific as you like.

  1. A general designation of your gift to Roser will be treated as non-specific and placed in the Church Operating Fund to be used for any Roser-related purpose.
  2. If desired, you can make your gift specific to a particular Roser activity such as the Music program, Women’s Guild, Food Pantry, Trustees, etc.
  3. Finally, you can also designate the Roser Long-Term Sustainability Fund as a specific bequest.  By way of background, the Long-Term Sustainability Fund is the most restricted type of gift and allows only limited withdraws for operations and is intended as a financial back-stop in case of major physical damage to our buildings or necessary capital expenditures.

If you would like to discuss these options in greater detail, please see the contact options, below.

How can I get more information?

You may call the Church Office at (941) 778-0414, or you can complete a contact form online. In either case, we will respond to you as soon as possible.

Why not join today with other Church members who decided to further Roser’s Christian message with a lasting memorial that will benefit Roser’s future membership for many generations to come?

Thank you for your prayerful consideration.
