Dr. Bob accepted the call to Roser Community Church in August, 2014. He received his Masters of Divinity from Duke University Divinity School and his Doctorate of Ministry, summa cum laude, from Drew University Theological School. During his years as a pastor he has served in churches large and small, urban and rural. Bob’s wife Phyllis is an experienced church musician. They have two adult children and three young grandchildren. Bob and Phyllis moved to the area from North Carolina.
Neil was born and raised in Midland, NC. He earned his B.A. in Philosophy and Religion from Appalachian State University in Boone, and his Master of Divinity from Hood Theological Seminary. Neil began the call into ministry as a Youth Director, then moved into the position of Associate Pastor at Bethel United Methodist Church in Midland. In July 2010, Neil was appointed as Pastor to New Union United Methodist Church in Asheboro, NC until 2014 when he was appointed to a three-point charge. In January 2016 he accepted the call to Roser Community Church. Neil and Bekah have two daughters; Katie (13), and Emily (7). Other than his love of people, mission, and his call to ministry, he enjoys fishing, golf, and pulling for the UNC Tarheels!

Kristen comes from Newton, Iowa and attended Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois. She received her M.A. in Music Education from Brigham Young University. Kristen’s main areas of expertise are vocal music education, church music, and piano instruction/performance. She has just completed her 33rd year of teaching music to various ages and abilities. Kristen has served most recently as the Artistic/Executive Director of the Iowa Youth Chorus. Kristen has served many congregations as choir director or organist, most recently as the Director of Music at Central Presbyterian Church in Des Moines.
