Church School

Children ages 4 years through 5th grade spend 4-6 weeks examining different aspects of a Bible story through learning mediums such as Cooking, Computers, Puppets, Science, Drama, Games, Videos, to name a few. Children attend the 10:00 Worship Service with their parents and are dismissed following the Children’s Sermon.

Children start the Sunday Worship Service by ringing the church bell five minutes before the service and lighting the altar candles as a symbol of Christ’s presence. Susan Nudd and Linda Gianiotes are the coordinators. Contact us if your child would like to know more about becoming an Acolyte.

Vacation Bible School

Our annual VBS for kids from 4 years to 5th grade runs from 9:00 AM to Noon each day, usually the week after school is out in June. Kids explore what it means to follow Jesus through the good times and the difficult times. Kids see, hear, touch, and even taste as they participate in various hands-on activities and games! Sign up to receive the weekly eBulletin to stay tuned in to activities for kids and youth.

Joyful Noise

A free after-school community choir for kids in Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Rehearsals begin the Tuesday after Labor Day and run through May. Choristers will learn basic vocal technique, beginning sight-reading concepts, and performance skills while performing a wide variety of musical styles. This is a ministry sponsored by Roser Church and directed by Kristen Stanton, Director of Music Ministries. There are no participation fees.

JAY (Jesus And Youth)

All Jr. High and Sr. High are invited to JAY Walk.  Not that kind of Jaywalking, but to join together in a time of fellowship and learning about God. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays – during the 10:00 AM Worship Service, following the Children’s Sermon.

Youth, grades 6 through 12 interested in understanding the role God plays in their life, the importance of the Sacraments (Baptism and The Lord’s Supper), discipleship, witness, and your mission to name a few–please join us for this class. This class will prepare you to become a member of the church, and to understand the vows you promise to uphold as a member. Contact us to learn more.
