There is no admission charge for the concert. Headlining the event will be Sarasota-based pianist Don Bryn who will perform a diverse repertoire of classical and jazz selections.

Bryn is the Director for Theory and Keyboard Studies at State College of Florida, accompanies services for the Unitarian Universalist Church of Sarasota, and works as a vocal coach for the Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training.  In addition, he performs with a variety of local arts organizations such as the Sarasota Artist Series Concerts, The Venice Symphony, the Pops Orchestra, Anna Maria Island Concert Choir and Orchestra, and Musica Viva.  The past two years he has joined four other local pianists for the extremely popular Artist Series “Piano Grand” concerts at the Sarasota Opera House.

Don received his Piano Performance and Music Technology degree from Duquesne University as well as his Master’s degree in Composition. He has become known for his arrangements for jazz and show bands and has composed pieces for everything from classical guitar and concert choirs to new music, electronic ensembles, and large orchestra.
