ABOUT THE ROSER MEMORIAL CHAPEL
In 1913, Anna Maria Island land developer, Charles Roser, funded the construction of a chapel in honor and memory of his parents, John and Caroline Roser. Mr. Roser was a successful businessman and philanthropist, whose generosity is a lasting benefit to coastal Florida. Over a century after it first began, the Chapel still stands, welcoming all who will enter for a time of peace, and closer contact with the ever living, ever loving God of all the ages and of each new day. In the stillness of the Chapel, one can sometimes sense the continuing presence of the small group of early Anna Maria Island pioneers who came together to worship and to study the words and ways of the Christian faith. Guests will notice that the beautiful pews have been refinished and the neon cross on the steeple of the Chapel is being repaired since it was toppled by Hurricane Irma. Everyone is invited to stop by and ask about what Fig Newtons have to do with this beautiful Chapel.
The Roser Thrift Shop will be open with bargains for everyone!
Roser Community Church is located at 512 Pine Avenue, Anna Maria, near the City Pier. For more information go to www.roserchurch.com/bayfest, call 941-778-0414 or or find us on Facebook at www.facebook/roserchurch.
